The Arrival- This is a story of a father who has moved to a strange land of opportunity to seek a better life for him and his family. During his journey he encounters fantastical creatures that are very natural to the native inhabitants. He also meets other immigrants that share their stories and are kind to him. In the end he is reunited with his family. This is a simple story with the use of imagery that relates a tale about immigration. It would be a great book to read for someone who has recently experienced a move to a new city, school or community.
